Opening night – Yayoi Kusama – Dots Obsession at La Villette – Paris – France
Yesterday evening was the opening for Yayoi Kusama’s first exhibition in France.

Dots Obsession is a work developped in 40 years arround the recurant theme of the dot. As a kid, Kusama had hallucinations, that are a major source of insipiration for the artist.
Quote : “I am just another dot in the world” by Yayoi Kusama. Knowing this quote, the exhibition gets a strong meaning. It is nearly a philosophical piece where we question ourselves. Each baloon has a spherical shape, shape that reflexs the dot in space. The piece is a mature reflexion and exploration of the dot concept by Yayoi Kusama herself.
